The main archival act in Bosnia-Herzegovina is Archives and Archives of Bosnia-Herzegovina Act. On provisions of this Act, there are two executive regulations: Regulations on transfer of archives to The Archives of Bosnia-Herzegovina and Regulations on preserving archives in the Archives of Bosnia Herzegovina and preserving current records in institutions of Bosnia-Herzegovina. Of great importance for records and archival service is Decision on records management of ministries, services, institutions and other bodies of Council of Ministers of Bosnia-Herzegovina, with its changes in 2003. For doing this decission, there is a Guidelines for execution of records management ministries, services, institutions and other bodies of Council of Ministers of Bosnia-Herzegovina.
